Sea Trek, as a Category

What the category usually means

In ordinary travel writing, a Sea Trek-style outing is a guided walk on the seabed in a helmet that supplies air, rather than a scuba tank you control or a snorkel at the surface. That description is a category. It is not a statement about a San Juan operator, a beach, or a boat this site has checked.

It is not snorkelling, and it is not introductory diving. Those are different skills, different equipment and different constraints. Do not treat them as substitutes.

What this page will not say

• It will not judge who the activity suits. A host’s own rules are the only ones that count. Ask them.
